The Copper Lock Door is a cast hardened aluminum replacement door for your street light transformer base or hand hole that has an integrated locking mechanism to help prevent theft. We utilize a separate unique locking bolt to secure the sliding plate and help prevent the unwanted removal of the door.
No modifications are required to make the Copper Lock Door fit securely to the existing transformer base. This patent pending product is designed to fit the transformer base on most street light poles. Refer to the product listing below for available sizes. If the size needed isn’t currently available, custom and nonstandard sizes can be cast to meet your needs.
Place door in existing opening, raise the locking arm and secure with the locking bolt.
The key to the locking bolt cannot be duplicated and is not available to the public. All keys must be ordered through Copper Protection and distribution is tightly controlled.
